A superbly illustrated account of the disastrous floods of 1913 in Ohio and Indiana with many folding maps showing daybyday flood levels and progressive damage Bound in full black cloth with titles in gilt to the spine The front board has at some point become partly detached and has been crudely repaired with black tape along the entire length This is now pulling away and has left a white mark along the centre The pages are generally free of any foxing although most of the pages show some stain marks predominately to the rear The pages have been stuck together and some show abrasion marks tears and holes to the margins where the pages have been pulled apart One page has been repaired with tape Despite its flaws this is still an amazing account of the floods of 1913 and very scarce to find The last one showing at auction in 1963nbsp. book.
