The first half of the book breaks down the different classes of savings banks, the second half explores the various safe securities. Solid and VG to VG+ in its wine-red cloth, with bright gilt-titling at the front panel and decorative, blindstamped bordering to both panels. Light spotting and soiling at the front panel's lower-edge, otherwise very sharp. And internally clean as could be, with no writing or markings of any kind. 16mo, includes a large fold-out chart (in superb condition) titled "Abstract of Reports of Condition of the Mutual and Stock Savings Banks in the United States 1896-97.".
