Add to basketFull Leather. Condition: Very Good. Sold by J.F. and C. Rivington, J. Robson and T. Cadell, 1786. A new edition of J. Ecton's Thesaurus rerum ecclesiasticarum. Hardcover, 8½ x 11" pp. 1391. Very good bound in full calf. Repaired with new leather back under old with raised bands and lettered in gilt on morocco label. Leather is rubbed but the book is very sound and firm. Contents clean and bright with no marks, inscriptions. Small bookseller label on front pastedown. A reference work listing the properties of the Church of England by Diocese with details of their revenues at the time of the dissolution of the monasteries by Henry VIII. A very handsome volume. Extremely heavy at 3.5 kg which will incur additional postage charge.
