Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fair. First printing in French. 170 pages plus preliminaries. Engraved frontispiece and title page emblem, 4 engraved whole plate, many tail pieces. Name on end papers, both front and back, in contemporary hand. paper browned, many page corners folded. early whole calf binding with 6 raised bands has wear to corners. Early basic repair, perhaps using saddlemakers hide, seems to have worked well.
