Luchthartige liefdesteksten, anoniem gepubliceerd door de gravin Turpin met medewerking van Favart, Guillard en de abbé de Voisenon in de beste Franse traditie, voorzien van kundige en verfijnde illustraties. Op het schutblad het exlibris van eroticaverzamelaar Bob Luza tegenover het exlibris van dichter Peter Heringa (naar een tekening van Wim Schuhmacher). Op het eerste blanco blad schreef Peter Heringa in potlood 'p. 81 cf Rimbaud' - waarschijnlijk verwijzend naar 'On plaît toujours quand on n'a que vingt ans'.
