Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. John Demorest [of Channel Boat House] (illustrator). 4to. (8.5 x 11") unpaged [16p]. Illustrated with 63 black and white captioned photos together with narrative explanatory text plus one black and white map of La Conner and vicinity. Double-page map by John Demorest of Channel Boat House at the center of the booklet. Stapled booklet in orange photo pictorial wrappers with photos on both the outsides and insides of the wrappers. Wrappers ever so slightly faded and very lightly soiled, just hints of rust on the staples, corners square and flat, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. Title of booklet taken from the Totem Pole Sign on the highway near La Conner. An unusual and informative collection of photos of La Conner as it was in the 1950s.
