Despite all the propaganda efforts made by the protagonists of the shibboleth of democracy two world wars in a generation have left the world not better off, but worse. And the propagandists for Democracy cannot change the fact, no matter what they do. They can place the blame where they will, almost without opposition, because of their monopoly of the public opinion manufacturing agencies. And by constant repetition they can have most of the people believing them. But here, the author challenges the monopolists of public opinion by examining unpublicized material--unpublicized because this material reveals the UNDER COVER FORCES FOR WAR. February 1, 1947.

In his open letter to President Truman, German-American Conrad K. Grieb writes on behalf of a devastated Germany who he argues was only defending herself when Jewish advisors to President Roosevelt betrayed the U.S. into going to war. Grieb explored this theme in far greater depth in his 1947 book, Uncovering the Forces for War (New York: Examiner Books). The pamphlet was published by fellow German-American and anti-Semite Homer Maertz via his Pioneer News Service based in Chicago. The cover states that Grieb's letter was reprinted by Pioneer, but it was not published elsewhere. Grieb was involved with the post-war Voters Alliance for Americans of German Ancestry. Stapled wrappers (8 ¼" x 5 ½"), 8 p. Stamp of Women's Voice to the bottom of the rear wrapper. Only seven copies in WorldCat. In SIBA (Singerman Bibliography of Antisemitic Texts).
