The text block and binding are still sound. The text has some spots. This is a rare copy in not very pretty condition, but it is still very readable.

It appears to be a First Edition First Printing book in Whitman's Big Little Book series though it's not specifically stated as such. It is 3 5/8" by 4 1/2" and has 428 pages with "hard cover" boards and black-and-white illustrations throughout. It is in very good condition . . . despite all of the years that it's been in existence. Thank you!.

Two-colo…r (red and black) cover indicating a first printing/editions (as the color wasn't picked up in later copies). Interior printing sharp and vivid. Some corrosion to staple. Some splitting at spine. Very difficult to find originals of these. Size: 16mo (very small). Text unmarked. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Slight shelf-wear and bumping to corners.
