Paperback. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Wraps. 8vo. pp 52. A rare curiosity -- the contents appear to be the same as the first issue of Muir and Lavrin's 'The European Quarterly' which appeared in May 1934, although the editorial / commentary (entitled here 'Our Generation') as described by Alvin Sullivan in 'British Lit…erary Magazines' appears to be re written, the May 1934 being more apocalyptic in style and content. Contributors include George Barker, C.M. Grieve, Kafka, Otokar Brezina, Pierre Jean Jouve, and Isidor Cankar. It is likely that this was either a dummy for the May issue or that it attracted so little response it was renamed and re-issued. It is unknown to Sullivan and Hoffman ('Little magazine'.) Light wear, sl fading otherwise about very good.
