[2], 692 pp. Illustrated with 8 (of, at least, 9) inserted full-page plates. 15" x 10-1/4" Contains portions of 'Master Humprey's Clock' beginning in the June 1840 issue, as well as Marryat's 'Poor Jack'. Usual foxing to paper. Period pos of William B. Baldwin. Ex-lib, with bookplate to front paste-down. Front hinge starting at top. An About VG copy. Original publisher's green cloth with later cloth tape repair to spine & board corners.
