The moral essays explore themes of virtue, vice, and the human condition, while the comic essays offer a lighthearted look at everyday life. Overall, The Shrubs of Parnassus is a delightful read for anyone interested in traditional English poetry and a glimpse into the literary world of the 18th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
