Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 88-page hardcover in dark blue cloth with a few black and white photo illustrations of some notable Codmans. Signed and inscribed by the author to her uncle Robert Codman Cobb on the dedication page. The book is dedicated to the author's grandfather, Charles Russel Codman, the famous American landscape painter. Includes transcription of family letters, family history and pages of genealogy. Includes a fabulous large, color foldout of the Codman family tree at the rear. Loose related clippings laid in. Light cover wear, else very good. No jacket, probably as issued. Ships insured, in a box.
