Octavo; publisher's cloth-backed boards in white pictorial dust jacket designed by Stanley Eisenman retaining original price ($3.95); [6],216pp. Moderate wear to jacket and board extremities, faint damp spot to upper jacket panel, strip of tape adhesive to jacket spine verso, dark glue residue to both sets of endpapers, pencil note to half title page aggressively erased; overall Good to Very Good. The jeweler author's first novel, a Harper Novel of Suspense centered around what Hirschberg knows best: the New York City diamond market of West 47th Street, a.k.a. the Diamond District.
