Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 170 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth. Prize plate stuck to front free endpaper. Black and white illustrations throughout with colour frontispiece. Slight cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Marking to both boards.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. [nd], ca 1930. Illustrated by C. E. Brock. No jacket. Blue cloth with gilt titles and decoration, cloth rubbed, edgeworn, with tiny points of fraying at spine tips and fore-edge corners. Spine square. Binding sound. Endsheets toned. Bookplate at front paste down, which has prevented a rectangular space at FFEP from toning. Interior else clean, text unmarked.

Undated but there is a Methodist Sunday School label pasted to inside of front board dated 1940. Lightly grimy background dustjacket with pictorial front panel with wear to edges and splits with some taped tears to spine-ends and corners, price-clipped. Very clean red hardback binding with light wera to spine-ends and boards' corners. Page-edges lightly yellowed and lightly foxed, light browning to endpapers (both ends) o/w pages clean and tidy.
