Slight cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Marking to both boards.

Blue cloth with gilt titles and decoration, cloth rubbed, edgeworn, with tiny points of fraying at spine tips and fore-edge corners. Spine square. Binding sound. Endsheets toned. Bookplate at front paste down, which has prevented a rectangular space at FFEP from toning. Interior else clean, text unmarked.
