Hardcover. Condition: Good+. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, red cloth boards with gilt on front and spine. Interior shows spotting and some soiling along with edge and corner bumps. The rear board has two small dents in this center area about 3 inches up from the bottom. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Pages are toned due to age and there is some spotting and foxing present, though mainly limited to the end pages and pastedowns. The front end page has very faint indication of what was probably a store price that was penciled in the corner and then later erased. The front pastedown contains a large dedication bookplate from the Central High School of Philadelphia which reads: "Presented to Stuart Franklyn Hirsh of the 204th class with complements of the Mary Gaston Barnwell Foundation. Fidelity-Philadelphia Trust Co., Trustee. June 22, 1955 date of graduation". No other markings found in the book.
