An extensive study of the Barbizon school of painters, an art movement active between 1830 and 1870. Their works mostly featured landscape paintings and scenes of village life.Some of the leading artists of the movement were Théodore Rousseau,Charles-François Daubigny,Jules Constant Troyon, and more.Adorned with numerous in text illustrations and thirty seven full page plates.
