In het kleinste kamertje, op slot maar wel te begluren, liggen vieze doeken en 'agt of negen vrouwen broeken, besmult met rood' of rinschen wijn'. Gedicht speelt zich af in Leiden aan de Oude Vest. Hermanus Coster (Alkmaar 1743 - Leiden 1781), organist van de Hooglandsche kerk te Leiden en besturend lid van het dichtgenootschap "Kunst wordt door arbeid verkregen".
