Justification uniquement sur le tome premier (total 20 volumes ; nous en avons seulement une partie, voir notre catalogue svp). Les lithographies originales illustrant la collection ont été tirées sur les presses de Mourlot. Ce volume est illustré par le peintre André Cottavoz (1922-2012), peintre et lithographe français . Couverture rigide, reliée, fond rouge-bordeaux, dorure, armoiries de la Principauté sur le 1er plat, tranche supérieure dorée, 4 nerfs. Reliure des Ateliers de Desclée à Tournai. Sous emboîtement, marbré rouge. Etat : Très bon, peu de traces d'ancienneté. 22.5 x 16.5 x 3.2 cm 1000g.

Presumed first edition w/NAP, hardcover, inscribed by Cottavoz on an early endpage with letter from the publisher and small promotional print laid in at front, has very light skew to binding, very slight bumps to spine ends and board corners, and a very faint hint of waving to edges of text block without any dampstaining or odor, otherwise a solid, clean, tight VG+ copy in like dust jacket which has very slight bumps to spine ends and corners, touch of edgewear, and some very faint rubbing.

The lithographs are mounted on top of a thin brown cardboard base.Complete set of nine signed lithographs depicting scenes from Parisian life, including prostitution, a studio/art gallery, a circus scene, a bar scene, interior with bust of Homer and books, etc. -- André Cottavoz (Saint-Marcellin, 29 July 1922 - Vallauris, 8 July 2012) was a French painter and lithographer who belonged to the Sanzistes group and the School of Paris.
