Original publisher's contemporary salmon pink cloth, lettered in gilt and with rich gilt-blocked decoration to covers and spine; all edges gilt. With title page vignette, tissue-guarded frontispiece and the 11 other tissue-guarded plates as called for. 2 plates with scattered light foxing to one margin and some offsetting to tissue guards; light spots of foxing to 4 pages (one per page), else internally very clean and tight. Spine ends and other extremities slightly bumped in a few places; slightest of wear to joints; inscription on front endpaper. A bright and very attractive copy, about very good indeed.
