To celebrate this milestone they planned a series of worldwide events and exhibitions through "Tiger Translate". One of these events was the exploration of three themes. The first was 'Merge' (connecting through social media, for example) iwhich was explored by inviting 75 AKAs (Asian Kinetic Artists) - emerging artists of modern Asia, to create multi-disciplinary works that reflect Asia's diversity. Works that appear in this volume have been selected by the 'International designers Network' (IdN) and celebrate the launch of the first Tiger Translate 2007 global event in New York City. The first few pages of this volume are viewed horizontally; the balance of the book is viewed vertically, and document these works of art.
