He studied graphics at the Centro Scolastico per le Industrie Artistiche (CSIA) in Lugano. From 1973 to today he has published three volumes of humorous drawings and has been able to exhibit his drawings all over the world. He has collaborated with the magazine Ticinosette, with the monthly Nebenspalter, with the bimonthly "Il nostro Paese" published by STAN (Ticino Society for Art and Nature) and with the RSI website. He lives and works in Breganzona. The latest "yo-yo" publication, published at the end of 2014, is a synthesis of humorous drawings by Adriano Crivelli, where 250 "cartoons" or "humorous drawings" as he prefers to call them are illustrated, which for decades have accompanied us in particular thanks to collaborations with Swiss and international newspapers and magazines, such as Ticino 7 and Nebelspalter, and cyclically with a very wide range of newspapers. "yo-yo" presents the last forty years of work by Adriano Crivelli with a choice of drawings partly unpublished and partly historical, selected from the immense archive of this designer with an unmistakable style and the ability to combine satire and smile, creativity and fun.
