Internally, the end pages are tanned, but this does not extend into the body of the book. The tops of the pages within have the slightest evidence of damp damage, but this is unnoticeable and does not affect the legibility of the text in any way. Self, 1984. A fine, pristine copy of this item which was limited to 100 copies bound in red cloth with gilt lettering to the front panel. This copy has been SIGNED by the author and six other contributors to this publication. This copy is from the library of Sir William Heseltine, the former Principal Private Secretary of PM Robert Menzies and later to Queen Elizabeth II, and bears his bookplate to the front free endpaper. This copy has been dedicated to Sir William, dated and SIGNED by the author to the front pastedown. A lovely collectible piece. Scans available if required.
