Written and edited by George Crossfield. With the bookplate of someone with the last name Chapman-Purchas to the front pastedown. A gift notice to the recto of front endpaper 'Isaac and Mary Davis, From Their Affectionate Friends, Isabel Cassen and Vi. Priestman.' Another letter loosely inserted dated 1955 from one Edgar Rowth/Roath outlining his family history. In a full calf binding with gilt stamping to the spine. Externally, generally smart with patches of heavy rubbing to the spine and extremities. Loss to the head of spine. Spine label is heavily rubbed. Bumping to the extremities.
