Showing the proximity of the railroad stations, and sea, lake and river ports, to the cities, towns, villages, etc., in the several provinces. Brown cloth hard cover with gilt shield on front and titles on spine, with some cover wear mostly confined to spine ends and including a small tear at each end. Inside the front cover is a book plate - The gift of M Oppenheim (pioneer historian of English naval administration, 1853-1927) in 1919 to Bath Public Reference Library, but none of the usual lending library stamps. Harper, presumably previous owner, stamped across title page, xiii, 464 mostly clean pages, and 4 pages for Montreal Telegraph Company, 116 pages of tables of routes, 27 or more pages of advertisements and intercolonial railway times. Overall the book published in 1873 and edited by P A Crossby remains in good condition.
