Sepia carte-de-visite portrait card (19.0 x 14.0 cm, larger than normal cabinet cards), good condition, sepia photo on tan board (studio name embossed at base, embossed border surrounding photo on card, reverse side blank), light foxing & toning front board (not on photo), minor edgewear corner tips, paper strip & pencil annotation reverse side. N/A pp. A sepia carte-de-viste portrait card of a male child. The photographer ('The Crown Studios, George & Market Sts Sydney, Vice-Regal Photographers') is embossed on the bottom front side of the card. The portrait is of a small child standing on a seat. He looks about two years old. He has short pants, a long-sleeved jumper, socks and shoes with a strap across the foot, one hand is at his side, the other on the back of the seat which has a ornate back. He is unsmiling and curious. (Pencil annotation at rear is a stock number plus the name 'McClelland'.).
