Original Wraps. Condition: Good. First Edition. Tan stiff paper wraps, chipped with approx. 5% total loss at bottom front corner, along front joint, rear fore-edge, and both spine extremities. Front cover mostly detached along front joint. 215 pp. Several leaves show light fore-edge chipping; the front cover through p. 10 show a short (approx. 3/4") closed tear along fore-edge extending into margin only, affecting no text; slight loss to bottom corners of early leaves, through about p. 30. Former owner signatures on front cover, former owner address inscription on title page. Worn but complete, original publication (not a later reprint), acceptable reading/reference copy, and quite scarce in any condition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.

Two fold-out plans of the "Siege Operations at Fort Erie, August 1 to September 24, 1814" and "Plan of the Entrenched Camp at Fort Erie". Original tan wrappers. Octavo. 219-482, xxxiii, [1]pp. Some pages unopened along topedges and foredges, small chips on rear wrapper edges and spine ends, spine darkened, a very good copy.
