Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing at surface of rebound cloth. A few minor abrasions to the surface. Corners and end bands lightly crushed. Gilt finishing at spine remains bright and clean. "Fresh" end papers. Bookplate of Maurice Robert Des Marais on front end pastedown. Des Marais was a longtime faculty member in the Department of Architecture at Penn State College of Arts and Architecture and a corporate member of the American Institute of Architects. Interior lightly toned with scattered foxing. A few instance of finger soiling. All plates present. Binding tight and intact. Please see photos. Third edition. Extremely scarce and unusual. Other works of Cupper's have sold for thousands at auction, but we cannot find any other listings at this time. Perfect for a collector of scarce architecture and masonry manuals.
