Hardcover. Orange/black boards. Orange leather corners and spine. Gilt lettering and extensive decorative elements on spine. 87 pages, 52 leaves of plates : 16 illustrations. One of 180 special copies containing 4 original and signed (in pencil) graphic works. Hand-binding by F. H. Ehmcke. A very scarce work with all the plates still present, and seminal in the study of Beckmann. Fifty-two full page photoengravings with tissue guards of Beckmann's work and 16 in-text drawings by Beckmann, reproduced in heliotype. Very Good. Cover has general wear, edge/corner damage. Some leather peeling, Bookblock has age toning. Interior pages have age toning. Some damage to internal binding at front cover No. 48 of 180 special copies containing 4 signed graphics.
