Condition: Very Good. Gialli del Divieto 7. Vintage Italian digest paperback, translation of "By Air Mail." Photographic cover featuring Jayne Mansfield, who would star in "Too Hot to Handle" (1960), and the following year in "The George Raft Story". Other Gialli editions credited models, not so here. Giusto Vaglieri's "Gialli" imprint was one of Italy's finest, offering translations of (mostly) American crime fiction, particularly the hardcover Proibiti line with winking cat face mascot, tiny man in clutched fist illustration on the rear panels, and lush, full-color pin-up jacket photos of Raquel Welch, Lili St. Cyr, June Wilkinson, and others. Very Good, lean, foxing, moderate staining to rear, corner chip.
