Yellow silk ribbon marker bound in. 8vo. There's a hint of foxing to the text block edges else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original shelf worn and slightly toned dust jacket, bumped at edges, chipped around the lower leading corner and a little sunned over the spine. Progress Publishers was a Moscow-based Soviet, and later Russian, publisher founded in 1931. It gained greater prominence when it took on the USSR's state publishing functions in 1963, remaining the leading publisher of Soviet materials until the early 1980s when it handed that mantle to Raduga and MIR Publishers.
