We bought this wonderfully executed drawing directly from the artist at a Comic-Con around 2000. It is the final preliminary to the color rendition that appears in the book. I much prefer this to the final version. In the coloring process, the image lost much of the detail and shading that make this piece so remarkable and lovable. 0.
