[vii], 311pp., vii (glossary and index, and a 1-page list of other works by the author. There is an errata slip tipped-in to the back of the title-page. This book is a volume in the publisher's 'Land of Ireland' series. It is the first of a series which deals with the tenures, laws, and occupation of land in Ireland from the most remote times to the 1930s. The book is bound in the original yellow cloth covered boards with black titling on the spine and front board. The case of the book is in very good condition with shelf wear and soiling to the boards and spine. The spine is slightly browned with bumping to the spine ends and a little damage to the cloth at the top of the spine. The contents are tight and clean with slight browning to the free endpapers and traces of a removed label and erased inscription on the front fixed endpaper. The removal has caused some damage and a patch of loss to the paper near the middle of the endpaper. The top corner of the front free endpaper has been clipped off.
