Original Polish one sheet poster for the Polish release of the 1975 British/American film, designed by Anna Mikke. Based on the 1973 play by Adrian Mitchell, which was based on the classic 1719 novel "Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe. A post-civil rights movement take on the Defoe classic, wherein Crusoe finds himself stranded on an island with a black islander, whom he names Friday, and finds himself incapable of seeing the islander beyond his narrow and racist colonialist worldview. Nominated for the Palm d'Or. 23 x 32.5 inches. Very Good, with light dampstaining to the right side.
