Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Very Good. See scans and description. The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists - May, 1992. 'Agenda 2001'. Chicago: The Educational Foundation for Nuclear Science, Inc., 1992. Quarto, illustrated wraps, 49 pp. Very Good, printed address label at front cover being the most notable flaw (no examples of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists were ever at book stores, etc; they were available by subscription only). Rear cover shows two small abrasions and light soil. Interior pages only modestly age-toned. Stoutly bound and bright. This BAS issue, "Agenda 2001", is primarily a symposium, a collection of short to medium articles by some of the most notable luminaries in the fields of physics, science speculation, idealogical, philosophical and all related areas of inquiry into the question, "What is to be Done" about the danger of nuclear proliferation and its potential consequences on into the next century (at that time, meaning this century, the 21st). Some of these pieces were in all likelihood published nowhere else. The contributors: Arthur C. Clarke; Daniel Ellsburg; Carl Sagan; Wolfgang K. H. Panofsky; William Epstein; Richard Lawrence Garwin; David Cortright; Joseph Rotblat; Jane Sharp; Richard J. Barnet; Theodore B. Taylor; Joanne Landy & Jennifer Scarlott; Michael Krepon; George Rathjens; Paul H. Nitze; Paul C. Warnke; Gordon Adams & Paul Taibl; Jack Mendelsohn; Randall Forsberg. Seminal, and very scarce. Ships in stout protection, of course. LPR51.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Inscribed "For Andy- For peace & truth Dan Ellsberg" on the first blurb page. Seemingly unread volume in VG- condition, predominantly due to the wrapper. Wrapper has multiple creases, tear near bottom outer edge of front panel missing a 1" long x 1/4" wide bit, a 1 1/4" tear up from the bottom hinge of the front panel, a few pen point sized dings, soiling, shelf wear, and light edge wear. Internally excellent with tight binding. 5th printing of Bantam's paperback edition. Signed by Author(s).
