This book narrates the author's pilgrimage through New Mexico and Arizona, two states with a rich history and breathtaking landscapes, which the author refers to as 'Gods Country'. The journey begins at the border between Colorado and New Mexico and progresses through mountains and prairies to the desert terrain of the present-day Southwest, where the author explores the lives of the Navajo, Hopi, and Zuni people, telling the story of their culture and traditions, and immersing the reader in the beauty and wonder of their world. More than just a travelogue, this book is a lyrical meditation on the intersection of history, culture, and the American Southwest's stunning, vast natural landscapes. Exploring themes of preservation, change, and the ongoing human struggle to find meaning and belonging, this book invites readers into the Southwest's dramatic, cultural, and historical tapestry, revealing the vibrant spirit that characterizes the region. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
