Hardcover. Condition: Good. early printing. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 400 pages; Circa [1866] T. B. Peterson and Brothers. HC Early printing in original red cloth with decorative title design in gilt and black. Cloth rubbed, worn and frayed at extremities. Evidence of prior PVA glue mend and reinforcement to the cloth at spine. Hinges cracked but sound and holding, likely from the PVA repair. Scattered light soiling and spotting to pages. Reading copy is sound in original cloth. Good only.
