Basato in parte su Jean Paul Perrrin, Histoire des Vaudois, Ginevra, 1619 e Johan Jacob Grasser. Molto raro, soprattutto completo e in condizioni così buone. Le piccole dimensioni, più che tascabili, del libro erano mirate a poterlo più facilmente nascondere per sfuggire alle censure e alle perquisizioni.

Gnädinger; sowie Kurt Ruh: Das Buch *gilt heute als mystagogischer Traktat von beachtlichem Rang. Dem Leser, der von Tauler herkommt, ist dieser fast immer gegenwärtig.
