Vintage two-color poster for the premiere of the 1988 play, held at Intersection for the Arts Theater at 766 Valencia Street, November, 1988. Elbows Akimbo was an avant-garde performance ensemble in the San Francisco underground scene, and were active in the late 1980s through the mid 1990s. The group was founded by director Thomas Schulz and songwriter, poet, and author Diana Rosalind. Intersection for the Arts is a Bay Area arts nonprofit founded in 1965 which continues its mission to this day. 11 x 17 inches. Very Good plus, with faint creasing, edgewear and a few small pinholes.
