Approx , SMALL RED PINKISH FADE WORN ILLUSTRATED FADE TO GOLD ON FRONT CVR with Christopher Robin and Tigger in gilt, CLOTH CVR WITH… FEW SPOTS ON BACK & SPINE EDGEWEAR tears CVR, Book has numerous condition issues; priced accordingly. Most notably, lower portion of spine reglued at some point, and a portion of cloth ~1" near tail is missing. Cover has spotting. A few MENDED DARKENED tape repairs to internal leaves PGS , and many of the illustrations have been colored (watercolor?) by hand. The results are generally not terrible, for what it's worth. 178 pgs , including the Hundred Acre Wood's newest resident, Tigger. In this collection, we learn that the "house" of the title is Eeyore's, which is (re)built by Piglet and Pooh; that Tigger does not like honey; and that while young Christopher Robin must go off to boarding school, the enchanted place of Pooh and his friends will always be waiting for him. The last of the four books in the Pooh series. Milne had bought his son a stuffed tiger, "Tigger".
