Hardcover. Condition: Good. Volume 5 of Biblioteca Historica Brasileira. Green cloth. 276 pages. 10 b & w plates. B & w, decorated chapter initials. The reverse side of the title page states, "Deste livro foram tirados 150 exemplares de luxo, numerados de 1 a 150;" 1253 is stamped below that statement. Spine and a fourth of the front board have darkened. Parts of extremities are rubbed. Pages have tanned and most are wrinkled along the spine stitching. A stain, 1/4 in. to 1 1/2 in., is on the top corner of each of the 3 pages of frontal matter and the first 14 pages of text. The half-title page has a peeled tear that is rejoined with glue. The front pastedown has an owner's name. Photos e-mailed upon request.
