A propos de l'arrestation de Joseph Goyer, originaire de Martigné Ferchaud, « déserteur des troupes de la république qui s'était évadé des prisons de Cholet où il avait déjà été incarcéré comme déserteur. » Il est question de poursuivre ceux qui lui ont donné asile et l'ont caché alors qu'ils savaient qu'il était déserteur. Il appelle à faire un exemple pour éviter les désertions. Goyer est alors détenu à la prison de la Rossignolerie à Angers. Belville mentionne que Goyer ne sortira de la prison que pour être conduit devant le conseil de guerre à Tours.
