Hardcover. Condition: Good. First edition. 77pp. Illustrated. Gift inscription, rear board with a large water stain, spine rubbed and with a few thin paint (?) stains, corners and spine ends worn and fraying, still good or better with text bright. Many of the pieces were previously printed in periodicals, including *St. Nicholas*, *The American Girl*, *Home Journal*, *Youth's Companion*, *Good Housekeeping* and others.
