Orig. published in 1949, this is the Second Printing (same year) of that FIRST EDITION. Small spiral bound hardcover with stiff decorative paper over boards has 32 pages, with illustrations of tricks throughout. Condition downgraded to Fair because all of the packaged tricks are missing, though many of the glassine envelopes that housed them are still present & attached. However, the tricks can all still be done using household objects (cards, a handkerchief, dollar bill, salt & pepper, bar of soap, etc). Basically a display copy: cover graphics are bright & clean, with light rubbing to extremities. . But the mid-century graphics of , first printing, from this hardcover is in Fine condition: just slightly less crisp than Brand New! Completely clean & bright, binding straight & strong, pages white with a hint of tanning to edges.
