There was nothing for them back there where the others were, the men in the gray flannel strait-jackets. They didn't want to live outside the box. And there was nothing back there for the women, who wanted to pick and choose their sex-mates the way they'd pick and choose a pair of shoes. It was life they were after, all that pulsing, throbbing energy of the universe out there.
