Oggi Bloomsbury è noto non solo perché ha segnato il passaggio dal Vittorianesimo alla modernità, svecchiando l'arte e la cultura inglese, ma anche per aver favorito il cambiamento dei costumi e promosso un modello di domesticità nuovo, estraneo alle convenzioni. Il mutamento culturale degli anni '60 che sembra aver anticipato - si pensi alla libertà sessuale, al pacifismo, all'antimperialismo e al femminismo sostenuti dal gruppo - ne ha favorito il ritorno in auge, che dagli anni '90 ha dato avvio al processo di innalzamento dei suoi membri allo status di celebrities.
