Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Good. 516 pages + 1 map. Spotting to pages throughout, very heavy in places. In old full leather binding, some wear. Pages are all edges gilt. Modern bookplate to the front pastedown.

516 pp. Decorative half-title page, engraved frontispiece, map of Versailles and beautifully detailed illustrations on virtually every page. Binding very tight and sound. Patches of foxing occasionally in text, otherwise clean. Beautifully bound in contemporary half tan leather with marbled hard paper boards. Five raised bands on spine with highly decorative gilt in panels. Gilt lettering on red spine label. Bottom corners and edges lightly rubbed. Overall condition VG+.
