The author (1923-2004), amongst other things, was a World War II war hero, a captive in the Korean War, and a Canadian senator for 14 years. The book, in red cloth with black lettering to the spine, seems to be bound upside down in the boards (perhaps they are all like that), has a discrete bookstore sticker (Robert Holmes, London, Ontario) inside, and is near fine. The unclipped dust jacket (no price to clip) has a small tear to the back panel, a small amount of soiling to the mainly white surfaces, and is VG to VG+. The jacket back panel has short positive reviews of the book by James A. Michener and Marshall McLuhan.
