Previous owner name and notes, on inside front cover with the hand written date of 1879. Very early children's color decals decorate some of the pages. Victorian, and charming. Hardcover, with deckled paper on the boards and leather spine, some fray and tears on leather spine. -- This book is only in the Swedish language. -- And is in fairly good condition considering it is over 147 years old. -- ABOUT THE BOOK: Overall good antique copy of the modern type 19th-century Swedish printing of Barth's classic children's Bible storybook, mostly clean, signs of previous owner mentioned above. Wonderful illustrations, classic for the era. Swedish-language "lärobok för skolan och hemmet" presenting 104 concise, illustrated Bible stories arranged for weekly instruction (the title "Tvċ gċnger tvċ och femtio" means twice fifty-two).
