Rochais, Defensoriana, Archéologie du Liber scintillarum (Sacri erudiri vol.9, 1957, p.199 et suiv.) : « Ayant eu…la bonne fortune de pouvoir examiner plusieurs éditions anciennes et rares du Liber scintillarum, j'ai cru utile d'en relever ici la description. Le nombre de ces éditions anciennes qui attribuent l'oeuvre à Defensor rend difficilement compréhensible l'erreur des éditeurs de Bède insérant le Liber scintillarum parmi les oeuvres du Vénérable () ». L'édition de Rome 1560 inaugure, dans cette bibliographie, cet étrange détournement. Reliure un peu défraichie, quelques légères rousseurs. 3 anciennes lignes manuscrites sur le titre. Bel état.
