Daniel del Solar was general manager of SF's KALW Public Radio fron 1985-1992 and was in the KPFA-FM Comunicación Aztlán programming collective in the early 1970s to National Director of Training and Development at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) in Washington D.C. in the mid-1970s. This film written during his KPFA period is about a porno filmmaker whofalls for his lead actor's girl.

A stage play offered to Daniel del Solar General Manager of WYBE-TV in Philly. Solar was also a General Manager at KALW in the 1980s. The action of the play takes place in a fictional Central American country. Dr. Eisendrath is chairman of the Project for Nuclear Awareness, an organization dedicated to furthering nuclear disarmament.
